Dropship Engine Flamer (v0.4)
I thought this up one day as I was spriting a pirate skeleton, so I decided to make it. Enjoy. *Note* Does not explode when clip is empty, I just got too close to that dreadnought. Lambda wrote: I'd also be cool if you could fly using it. Done. Blue too. Attachment: DropshipFlamer.rte v0.4.rar

It's cool, but the flames should be blue. I'd also be cool if you could fly using it.

This is a great idea, simple but effective. This would be great when lua is fully usable, so that you could make these replace the real dropship engines upon death.

I'll download it. You should give it a blue flame though . Great job too, I always wanted to use one of these!

OH MAN THAT LUA IT SURE IS HARD Saw that one coming. It pains me when people start talking about Lua doing something or other that's already possible.. It's only a matter of time until BAM. Grif attacks. Anyway uh, yeah, this'd be a LOT better if it looked like an actual dropship flame.

Re: Dropship Engine Flamer (v0.2
Hey, i apologize for making a suggestion that is already possible. Due to my little knowledge on CC modding, i wasn't sure whether or not this was already possible. However Grif, your response was rather over reactionary. I understand my comment was moronic, but a simple explanation would easily suffice. Your going the extra unneeded step bothers me, as I have never seen you overreact like such before, and i usually consider you an extraordinary intelligent person with a calm attitude. Anyway, this my question was answered, no need to dwell on it further.

Re: Dropship Engine Flamer (v0.2
Is blue flame that important to people? Alright then. Working on it now...
Edit: Does that mean you want it to be the same as the actual dropship engine, but handheld, or change the sprite of the flame balls to be blue?

Re: Dropship Engine Flamer (v0.3, blue/rocket)
I'm fairly certain when people see the dropship engine, they expect the dropship engine exhaust (which, incidentally, is fire, but it's got a unique property to it. why don't you just copy the dropship's exhaust directly and modify it so it doesn't kill us instantly? That'd work), not some random blue ball of fire.

Re: Dropship Engine Flamer (v0.3, blue/rocket)
Dropship engines have exhaust? I thought only the rockets did... I pretty much did end up copying the dropship engines, using the same flash group and particles (with a little modding). That's what the Blue flamer is. Oh, and update. I forgot in the last version about spreading the particles out, so instead of going in neat lines they should spread out nicely. Also, slightly modified sprites to be able to differentiate between the two.

Re: Dropship Engine Flamer (v0.4)
I like this, its a simple, but good idea. An awesome thing to add: it flys away when the actor dies, like a real dropship engine.
