C++ AND C# ARE THE SAME THING BECAUSE THEY BOTH HAVE C IN THEM RITE. RITE?

And uh yeah what about them mods. Since Microsoft makes everything on XBLA cost money, how would they work? Would every mod be hosted on XBL? Only some? Who makes the decision? Who decides prices? Who gets the money? What's the split if there is one?

Lotta questions.

Have you guys considered the possibility that Data decides to add more content to his mod before it's finally complete? I rather take quality over quantity. 10 good guns/actors are better than 100 crappily modded versions of AK-47 or that Coalition unit. Also, he could add the possibility to customize the characters, giving them more armor, painting them, etc. Weapons could also be customized, example: Ability to give them bigger clips, but having a downside to that too. Most mods I see here are just reskins with extra glow. You could also build your own actors using body parts. Mods aren't impossible by the way. For example, in Halo 3, you could upload pictures. In Far Cry for the consoles, you could upload your own maps. The game could also contain a spriter, but that's pretty far fetched. Modding tools could be purchased for extra money (probably around 5 euros or less), and the mods would be created by the community.

It's still a very small chance he'd do it, but I'd be happy to see it.

Actually, I think he meant that Data wouldn't be able to use C++ for the Xbox 360 as only big companies have access to a C++ runtime on the Xbox 360; or they have to make the runtime compatible with the 360.

Also, .net languages have a speed decrease to them, so if Data decided to port CC over to C#, then it would take a performance hit.

On the other hand, the Xbox 360 has 3 CPUs with 4 out of 6 threads available to games.
