Cricket's Pack of Maps
4 maps in one topic. 1. Floating Isles Has 5 floating islands with gold waiting to be mined. 2. Pit A really high map that's fun for dropping things. 3. Grass Duel The original Grass Duel with pre-placed bunkers, but no pre-placed brains. 4. Labyrinth You have one heavy clone, and that's it. Your mission? Destroy 3 enemy brains in a labyrinth. Post your time if you succeed. Note: the brains don't actually have a heart. Credits: zalo - one guy mission idea Data - CC Me - the scenes

Ooooh, I like the floating islands a lot. Very 'Unreal'. Will definitely check it out when I get home.

2 looks like rocket race sans rockets...
Islands looks good, but i'm guessing the AI will play terribly on it.
I'm always up for something different, so the maze looks pretty cool.
YGMDL, if only for the labyrinth.

Re: Cricket's Pack of Maps
Cool. This looks worth a DL. The pit might be fun for a laugh or too but Doesn't look like it would be good for any actual game play. I like the Islands and I'm testing the maze now.
More to come...
EDIT:
The Maze kicks ass. It lags a little on my machine but not so much that it's unplayable.
Great Job!
Hopefully Data will make a few one man missions for the actual game. Also hope to see more of these spring up after the next build is released. Lua will be able to make some pretty kick ass levels!

Re: Cricket's Pack of Maps
"The long trek to the first brain has ended. I have sustained many wounds, but I must press on. I now stand beneath it, and I can see its monitor screaming for its soldiers. Too damn bad, they're dead. I had dropped my flak cannon into the abyss earlier, but grabbed a soldier's rifle. I pull the trigger, and the brain case cracks apart. The brain tumbles out, and hits me on the head. It explodes into pieces as it impacts my helmet. I jump out the doorway, using my single leg, and attempt to burst fire the jetpack I wear past that dreadnought I snuck past earlier. No good. It blasts my legs and back, but I jet on! I have to get to the open-" Memory file ends here. :P
