Hey, i feel pretty bad my first post is a help request but none the less i'm pretty sure no one else has had this. Recently after downloadng some of the more popular mods and editing 1 or 2 values (gold values on the dummy ship and robot A) the game has sped up, i mean like really sped up, units walk too fast drop ships land too fast etc. It's like the whole game speed has been sped up considerably and it's taking the fun out of the game, i've uninstalled and reinstalled, deleted every cortex command related file and installed again yet it does the same thing on both of my computers. Please any help reguarding this issue would be greatly appreciated.

Heya, use the 1 and 2 keys to speed up and, in this case, slow down the game.

2 Does the slowing down in this place.
However, if you slow down too much, it will seem to have framerate issues.

haha, thanks for putting up with my stupidity guys, i must have hit the 1 key when bashing keys to skip the intro or something

Usually, the speed resets when you hit Ctrl+R.

If you want to skip the intro go into setting in base.rte and turn it off.
when you get to a weird crapy bunker with a crab and a rocket on it press escape and you'll be it the menu. Its much faster than bashing the keys if that even did anything.

Space cancels the intro for me.

I make my own test maps and replace them with this crappy bunker map. Very handy.
