1. You need OXYGEN for fire. Helium and hydrogen != flammable if there's no oxygen to make fire with.

2. Jupiter is big. Really, really, really, really, really, really ♥♥♥♥ HUGE. Like, seriously, it's ♥♥♥♥ massive. If you could manage to light one end of it on fire, the flame wouldn't even hit the other side for months. It wouldn't even qualify as an explosion.

3. 1 flamethrower = nothing. Even if the atmosphere were pure oxygen, the way the air moves around nothing would happen. You'd need something more comparable to THE SUN to get anything done.

4. Cricket's ideas aren't original, his coding is standard, not good, and he doesn't need to put all these in seperate threads.

I would just like to say that while Jupiter is mostly gas there is a small rocky core.

It's still pretty unrealistic, but if they had skin made of the kind of stuff that you build military bases from, they could survive down there.

While it IS a video game I recommend an aquatic planet. Because aquatic aliens are just plain awesome.

It's nonsensical for a standard humanoid entity to live there, yes.
Maybe they are creatures made of sentient gas, and that's why they are all in suits.
Or maybe they originated from another planet and put their brains into machines so that they could live on Jupiter when their planet exploded.

The bottom line is that if he wants his aliens to live on Jupiter, they can.
No amount of whining from anyone is going to make him change it, it will just spam up the topic.
So quit your complaining because the author always wins. He can retcon whatever he wants into his first post in order to defeat anything you point out.

nonsensical: Non = No, nonsensical without the non probably means= Logical; makes sense. Something not logical or something that does not make sense.

humanoid= human, entity = creature, organism, or being. So basically, a human.

sentient= conscious of one's self; sentient gas would know it was alive and be an organism.

so, the simple version: It doesn't make sense for a normal human to live there. Maybe they're aliens made of gas, so they use the suits to stay in form.
