   |   Re: AI Discussionthey probably use diggers cuz they're in the tools category or digger category. Someone should try putting a smg in the tools category and see what happens. It's the same thing with duel wielding, put a gun in the shields category and it can duel wield. Put a gun in the tools category, and the AI can dig with it. I dunno if this is right but someone should test.

   |   Re: AI DiscussionI have a question. I know I've seen a thread about this, but I've spent a little over 10 minutes searching for it, and just gave up.
How do you make it so that the AI will be able to use the mods you download, specifically the actors and guns?

Read the stickies in mod making. Specifically, 'activities.ini'.

Man, this ♥♥♥♥ reminds me of how awesome the ai could be... two crouched one in front and one in back (facing away from and covering rest of squad, and the one standing is in the middle providing extra fire to the side that needs it.

   |   Re: AI DiscussionHmm, i just tought I'd post this...When I was playing solo in the Space Crater map (great thing, that)
I heard digger. I quickly looked up the doorways etc., nothing.
Then, I noticed a robot, having a fully open route to my doors,
was still digging some of the bare gold bricks found in the map,
 whilst moving towards my base.
Since the normal gold mining Ai doesn't work, that was kinda wierd.

   |   Re: AI DiscussionThere was some wreckage in the way of my base and two skellies walked towards it. One stopped and lied down, the other walked on top of the prone skeleton to get over the wreckage.
Sadly my bubble of AI coolness was burst as the prone one stood up and walked into the wreckage until he blew up.

Ummm it tought it was an obsticle and tried to remove it so it could keep on going. There could've been space to fly through, so digging wouldn't be neccessary.
