I assumed he would not just be having it fire ARocket.
Just have it as a TDExplosive with a flames emitter on it, that explodes when it gibs, and give it the rocket sprite.

Itt noobs and counter n00bs.
You could make a gun fire a dropship, intact, which is propelled by its thrusters. If you didn't take some precautions the recoil would obliterate your actor, but that's a minor concern. EmissionsEnabled = 1. Engines are always on. The dropship could be rotated, but it would only ever face one direction, which is the only real problem.
Also good lord are we going to get a new "gib launcher" every two weeks until Data dies?

Not everyone goes out of their way to make really unique stuff, and while this thing is based on very simple coding that people could do since build 4, it IS the only dropship launcher gun of this build if you don't count the actor spawning gun coding and whatnot. I honeslty like shooting dropships for the time being until build 21 gets here and we start seeing some actual custom campaign content and LUA AI scripting, among other things. This is just another simple fun mod, we;re allowed to have the occasional copy cat flood of that stuff every now and then. Itll just settle to the bottom of the page and to the next page eventually. Good for killing time waiting for the real awesome stuff to arrive.

Build 4 didn't have dropships nor exploding TDEx's.

Also, it won't settle to the bottom of the page if you don't post in it and call it the "most awesome mod ever" yet also acknowledge that it's a copycat. Which seems to not make a great deal of sense to me.

I could have sworn build 4 had dropships.....or was it only rockets? I cant remember, I first started playing right as build 4 got updated to the next build, then there was some weird period where it like skipped a bunch of builds, I'm guessing several went unreleased.
Either way, I enjoy this gun and I wont mind seeing some more, which WILL in fact fade with time to the bottom of the page. I will bump this current one becuase it is in fact fun to use and therefore awesome. I don't care if it copies an old idea, its the only of its kind this build. You must just be really tired of parlour tricks and gibs, waiting for the real juicy stuff to get you excited. This trick still makes me smile though.

Dropships weren't added until Build 10.
Every single numbered version of Cortex Command (and DIRT for that matter) was released explicitly and seperately.

I know, it's like a 5 min mod, and I wasn't trying to make something mindblowing, Grif. I know it's nooby, but it's for the purpose of fun. Just thought the people who can't really mod would enjoy it. That's all

Are you sure? Are you sure it is in your CC folder? The weapon should say AddToGroup = Weapons Tell me if it still doesn't work
