				  Sticky Explosion

						Hi.
Is it possible for me to make a grenade that, when it explodes, sticks onto the actor it exploded on?
I know there aren't sticky particles, but I was wondering if there was some other way to do it.
  Thx

Thx Nope, sorry, not possible. But other people have attempted it. Things they did. 1. Made a TDExplosive 2. Made another TDExplosive 3. Made the 2nd explosive pinned 4. Made the 1st one gib the second one.

But he doesn't want it to stick to the actor.
What would making it stick to the actor do anyways?
I bet Data's particles won't stick to actors.

						Yes he does, you're dumb.
And why in the name of god would you use so many extra steps?

There's also a timed sticky explosive, if you want that. Grenade, detonates a pinned MOSRotating, MOSRotating has an emitter which damages it and destroys it in time, and the MOSRotating has damaging gibs. It doesn't stick to actors though. Currently, nothing can stick to actors, but can "stick" to terrain.

We'll there's something that couldmaybepossibly work...
TDE gibs into an invisible actor with low mass with a gun with low mass that uses the explosive sprite.
Gun has an attatched emitterfacing backwards, not very powerful.
Gun has a normal round that fires nothing, and the actual xplosive as a tracer round. (Or vice versa).
  So her's what happens:
Actor gibs, points gun at enemy, emitter on back of gun thus pushes actor toward enemy, with the correct balancing of thrust and mass and strength, you should get it to effectively :stick" to the enemy without killing the enemy or the actor. Actor's gun fires a lot of nothing then explodes when the tracer round gos off.
Basically, the homing missle with a hell of a lot more tweaking, but it could work.

Sounds possible, but complicated. I recall Azukki making a homing missile, maybe that could be a base for it. EDIT: Found It. http://www.datarealms.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=61&t=10245
