No matter what the Loader hates every .wav in Sounds, and I've restarted, and reinstalled a multitude of times.

The previous User had no problems.

Or did you commented it out?

Foa, uh, do you have administrator rights? Is CortexCommand.exe allowed to access files in its directory?

That's all I can think of, since I've gotten the error before.

I do have administration, I tried deleting, then I had to reinstall, Commenting out, reinstall, after getting it reinstalled I restarted.

Whoops! Had to run as Admin!
And running as Admin doesn't matter now!

And it seems I had to plug in Headphones!

what IS the slish sound anyways?

It's a sound used in generic actors. It's also the first file besides .inis that CC loads.

Do yourself a favor.

The only problem Vista gives me now is that starforce doesn't work on it (which is good), and sometimes explorer crashes randomly, and only in certain folders .I have a folder on desktop filled with my WC3 map character codes and it crashes 3/4 times when I open it up.

Um, I have the same problem, only I don't have Vista. I'm using Window's XP and this file still won't run for me. No one else uses this computer, so I am the only admin.

Restart the computer.

I'm getting the same error, can't get my game to work. I've got windows XP. I've restarted, didn't work. Uninstalled then reinstalled, didn't work. Here's the error that I'm getting.

Did you figure out what it was Foa? If you did I'm sorry but I wasn't able to get what you did to make it work.

Yeah i just ran my CC and got the same error, i am on Vista, i run it as Admin always, i am the only person who uses PC, but its DSTech/Sounds/AWALK_00.wav or somethign, i looked in the fodler and it is there but it is 0 bytes?
its not right, i checked the edit date and it was edited in 2006...... can someone send me the sound again or somehting, Thanks babes.
