How are posting gifs be lazy? They're better than pictures, they're moving pictures.

*Acts surprised no one said this*
Murdock you crazy foo', stop shootin' rockets!
...
Anyways, a good mod. It's pretty balanced and the sprites are nice.

Re: Murdock
I can only get this mod to work with CC after putting it in the folder and restarting my computer. Even then it only works for one start up. Very annoying.

Re: Murdock
That sounds like you've got too many mods, I recommend a clean-up. If you don't use it, delete it.

Re: Murdock
That IS weird... I know what you mean though, I had to get rid of AAL in the end as it just wouldn't run, I got an error everytime. No idea how to fix it.

Re: Murdock
Actually, that means that CC's internal memory ran out of file handles. I don't know how that happens with no mods though... :/

Re: Murdock
Looks cool, is it meant to be that tall compared to the vanilla units?

Re: Murdock
This thing has great potential! The unit itself is really cool. Amazing spriteswork. Though I have a problem with it. Its jetpack is really unhandy. All it does is throw you up in the air. Then you fall back down. You can't even fire it in bursts. Please, at least make it so tha tyou can fire three consecutive bursts... or something. The way it is right now, the murdock is a fine unit, but it is handicapped by its jetpack. For now, it ain't really worth the 280, but with a proper jetpack, it would be worth it. Nice work, but I think you still have to fix the thing.

Re: Murdock
He made the jetpack like that on purpose. The jumping is working as intended.

Re: Murdock
Near as I can tell, it gets to line 500 or so but then freaks out.
For what little time I could get this to work, it was a fun mod. I like the size of the guy, although I'll admit the uncontrollable booster could be either too weak or too strong for lots of situations. It has presence. Crouching could be bit awkward because of the size of most tunnels.
The explosive shotgun was great, but the range was a little short. Seeing the shrapnel disapear before hitting an enemy ship was taxing.
Something in the way this is assembled is just crashing the game and that's the most disapointing thing.

Brainwashed wrote: Maybe that could be its faction... Nowai. It would overshadow all the other things xP (Not in terms of color) But anyways, i'll give this bloke a try, he certainly looks cool, so let's see if he is as cool as he looks Keep an eye peeled for an edit on this post... Edit: Well, after playing, i can say that he is pretty cool, but i admit that he wasn't as cool as i hoped. Sprite is bloody brilliant, of course. You haven't been very creative with the sounds though, with both the cannon and the jumppack having the same boom sound. The cannon is nice, although it's an etch weak for my taste, but that's just me. It's also cool how his walkpath is almost realistic, as in, his legs doesn't snap forward, unlike so many other actors. The jumppack is a bit frustrating for me, but it definetly works as intended. All in all, great job, but use more sounds

Re: Murdock
It reminds me of the iron giant... you know, the one where vin diesel played the voice of some giant alien robot and wanted to bone some 50's kid or something?
Needs moar sounds, like more variation in the sounds you use, and possibly a sound for when the shotgun pellets explode.
