It hasn't been done quite like this before, but it's not something significant enough to be called a revolution, in my opinion.
We already knew we could mess with where the thrusters were and what they did, we just hadn't applied it to this "unique and challenging" configuration.
Which I don't think too highly of, myself.

Another epic Tim mod.
The fact that it was already two pages long made me wonder whether I already had it >_>

Holy crap, I guess I'll be working on a planet express ship now...

Great mod Tim. I'm glad you used the blimp sprite instead of waste it like somebody I know (coughB.U.N.M.Ocough).

I like the stone building materials and the blimp more than anything. If I can find some tower tops I can make a castle. The blimp is really neat too.

I have to ask, what is in the concepts.ptg in the folder? Google reveals it to be an "ArtRage" program file. I'm guessing a copy of the other .pngs in the file but with Lord Tim I never know.

That Blimp is amazing. I like the rotating blades at the top of it.

Well done Mombassa and Tim.

Nice pack, I liked the crafts the most. Especially the blimp on tutorial level. It appears to act as a powerful bumper against airborne darklones and sends them flying if you smack into the them with the blimps balloon part, its really fun.

The Danger One is cool, but I hate that it has no burst boosts (Please add, even with a BurstSpacing so it wont get abused) and the fact when I want to fly to the left, the rocket gets the annoying autoscuttle if I fly too much tilted to the left side. Also the hatch exit is misplaced with the actual sprite. Also AI is no good with it. Its a fancy rocket, but could use some more detail on the rocket's sprite.

The weapon sprites are ultra small, and I dont really see what the hell am I holding. Despite that the weapon funcionality and effects are really nice with the trails but if shot too much and too fast, it will start to lag.

Genesis was pretty neat, the instant nature thingy looks amazing and it does feel like its bringing the life of nature back to the destroyed soil. It could use more features too like we saw in the concept thing. Lightnings, trees and anything else that is related to nature.

Its a fun mod to play with, nothing too serious though like factions and feels quite fresh.

the sand blimp is funny. and becouse its so small and doesent have engines that can fly off, you can pick up weapons from the ground with its hull. and bring them back for some nice money or send them to your own troops.

The ships are fun.
I have yet to use the weapons.

PS: Did something that goes by the name of "Indiana Jones" inspire you to make this?

Try to fly the Danger One up or down rocket race, it's fudging impossible.

And I'm excited to see what will go in the empty "Danger" folder. The actor?

Oops. I thought I had deleted the Danger folder. There was originally an actor, but my sprites sucked, so I took him out and changed the name of the mod.

Thank you very much. I suck at spriting stuff in CC, so I didn't really spend too much time on the gun sprites. Danger One I somehow did in photoshop. Also, Electroclan was going to do gibs for the ships, but has since mysteriously disappeared. :(

I tried to make the tree and lightning work with Genesis, but the tree was beyond my patience to work out, and the lightning failed after about 3 attempts and was the last thing I tried to make work before I released the mod. Originally, I was going to have the crabs spawn wherever the lightning hit, but stuff didn't work and I got lazy.

Original story behind the mod was "Danger McPhaser: Adventures of a Cosmonaut in Space", which was going to be a Spaceman Spiff/Indiana Jones/Communist awesome mod series. But then the actor sprite sucked, the scene traps were annoying and glitchy, and I had a bunch of other stuff I wanted to make (Genesis... Blimp), so I just decided to make it a compilation pack and release it before Data released B21.

Once B21 comes out however...

Big things...

Big.

P.S. Genesis is released under TetraCorp. Everything else is property of Lord Tim's Amazingly Awesome Better Than You Corporation of Fun.

Both the craft are really fun to fly, though the Danger One might be easier if the forward/up thrusts were reversed.

The gibs are alright, but it would be awesome if the blimp gibbed in a fireball, leaving a skeleton that broke up when it it the ground.

Maybe with an "oh, the humanity" in the background.

Make it also be even more explosive than the helium in the Hindenburg.

Weapons:

Genesis, I like how it spontaniously spawns nature
Pistol and Rifle, rarely causes damage to dummies.

Just FYI, it was hydrogen. Helium is decidedly inert, non-flammable. Unless you want to get into fusion, but that's entirely another matter.

The masonry takes me back to those days of 2-D platforming dungeon-crawlers on the Famicon. Good times.
Also well done, but you know that already.
