Permanent CC error
I run CC (unregistered), it opens up totally fine, everything loads, I can play it through a game, though it seems to crash a little more often than SP2..
I try to load it with ANY mod, the game crashes when loading index.ini, specifically the activities part I think. (Not sure because for some odd reason the game doesn't dump the last frame before the crash.) I reinstalled several times to different places on the hard drive, re-downloaded installer, etc etc.
I am running Windows XP SP3 Student Edition on a Macintosh using Parallels Desktop, but I don't see why that should effect anything.
Note: Anything about how Macintoshes aren't better than PCs is spam, and will be reported.

Re: Permanent CC error
AHAH! In a flash of insight, I realized that transferring the files directly from my mac desktop to my parallels might have been the problem. So I then loading my thumbdrive into the alternate windows desktop and transferred them from there. No problems.
Edit: Argh, may still be broken... Edit: Crobotech and Alchemist mods don't work. Crash at pretty much every line of their indexes.
