Re: MMO Discussion Thread (Ultima Online?)
Hey guys, new MMO for y'all to want. It's called Requiem: Bloodymare and it's got ragdolls and (some?) dismemberment. I'm still installing it right now, but from trailers/other videos, it looks to be pretty awesome. In Open Beta right now, so it's completely free. Not sure if a payment plan for anything is in the works though. TrailerGameplay VideoAnd of course, the ever-precious link to their site. Note: If you do not enter a birthday over 18 or 21 (not sure which exactly) it will not let you register and you will have problems. This is a "horror" MMO according to the site, so those who scare easy, I think it's trying to say it's not for you. http://www.playrequiem.com

Yeah, except you have to camp one spot for 50 years hoping that one spawns while being repeatedly anally violated by pvpers and the rape monsters in there. Now a fire steed on the other hand is what I'm aiming for. Just gotta get a +20 taming powerscroll.

Re: MMO Discussion Thread (Ultima Online?)
Requiem servers launched last night at 9 PM CST... I tried to get on and succeeded. But there was no chance in hell of getting free of killstealers, as there were hundreds of people in the starting area. It's probably better by now, but yeah. See my previous post on Requiem for infos and links.

Re: MMO Discussion Thread (Ultima Online?)
What about Evaluate Intelligence? Quote: Evaluate Intelligence:The equivalent of Anatomy to a mage. A warrior needs anatomy to assess an enemy's strength, and do more damage. A mage needs eval int. to assess an enemy's intelligence, and add more damage to magic.
BTW Alenth: Quote: Spirit Speak:Not particulary useful. Lets you see what the dead are saying, as opposed to only seeing "oooooooo." (Update:Now VERY useful for Necromancers. Increases the effect of necromantic magic.)
