JetPack Should be weak defense against its console.
Like a fire extinguisher.
Also, does the AI know to go under it and hit its console?

That would be cool, but the AI wouldn't be able to use it. And the AI would only attack the console if they passes by it, like in a corridor or something.

I think that you should make the explosion the bigger option of the two and that the jetpack button would be the self-destruct button. All you would have to do would be to change the amount and destructiveness of the emitted particles, and place the jetpack at the bottom of the turret so that it sprays up into itself.
also i like the flamethrower idea.

also i like the flamethrower idea. I like this idea... If one would destroy it the normal way, it would just collapse with a few booms. But with a selfdestruct, I could make the player be able to trade his turret into a fiery nuclear explosion, vaporizing everything nearby. There would be slight damage to the base too but the major force of the blast would remain above the surface on the terrain. On the other hand, it would be much fun for the opposing player to make it blow up with a mushroom cloud without the selfdestruct too. Also I just completed the AAL Blast Doors. Now you can lock up behind doors that withstand the heaviest explosions with ease. And I finished the gibs for the NovaStar. Total of 45 different large gibs.

No im not adding it yet. Im thinking which jetpack feature would be the best for this thing. And yes, the doors are complete, theres a screenie on the AAL mod topic on pg 19.
