That would work quite nicely.
You'd just need to make them fly sideways from it.

...o--o
H____H

Maybe like that?
H = engine
o = door
Ignore the .'s

So you'd have diagonally facing doors to fling them outward.

Truly, I think this needs some sort of ninja actor, instead of the usual samurai look.

Ahem, Gospel of Fatticus, 12:34-
Truly I tell you, does not the Light DarKlone look like a ninja?
And yea, there were throwing knives, and a sword which did not have pronounced curvature, and Darlos did make a ninja a long time ago.
And the lord did move across the waters and say 'Word, pay attention, my son, for your wish has already been granted.'
And the birds of the sky and the beasts of the field did rejoice in anticipation of the dropship, and all was well.

In short: the Lights are ninjas. That was always my intent. It's why they don't talk. Should the CC engine ever gain the ability to support any kind of stealth abilities or traits, their nature will become more pronounced.

Also, in case anyone was wondering, the sword is straight simply because there's no reason for a blade that cuts through heat and energy to be curved. See, swords were often curved so the force and weight of the strike would be placed on a smaller area, increasing cutting ability. After the initial cut, the cutting area would "spread" as the blade cut deeper, making a nice outward shearing effect.

All of these considerations are based around a solid blade with weight behind it. When you're dealing with a blade of raw energy, mass and shape doesn't matter, since its the intensity of the energy alone that "cuts."

Well, thinking about it like that, if the plasma stream (or whatever) were curved, then you'd end up with more plasma hitting the initial point of impact, because if it's straight all the incoming plasma will hit other bits first, but if it's curved it'd have an easier time burning the first bit.

Another consideration: how is the energy being generated exactly? In the straight blade, I sort of assumed that the blade is being being generated at the hilt and shot up towards the tip in a stream of energy that travels along the blade. You couldn't do anything like that with a curved blade. In a curved blade, you have to have the energy coming straight out from the blade, instead of traveling along it. All points of impact would be equally strong, so it wouldn't matter, even if it were straight and the energy came straight out from the blade.

In other news, I'm thinking about making some kind of new mechanization. It'd be some kind of hovering robot with two arms that dual-wields larger weapons. The only problem with this is that if I make some kind of mobile hovering robot with two weapons, then one might begin to wonder why the hover turret only has one weapon. I might go about redesigning the hover turret a bit if I make this other thing... dual machine guns might be pretty cool.

Well why that would make us wonder why the hover turret doesnt have dual weapons I dont know, but I like it the way it is (Wouldnt mind seeing what you mean though)

Gundamstylemechplease.
I have a theory on how attachable regen. armor could work.

1.Make attachables hitmos = 0 and gethitbymos = 0
2.Make skin the same way as current regen. armor.
3.Make skinpower differ depending on type of unit
4.Make appearance of attachable armor different

or you could put armor over the regen. armor

Oh yeah, good point about the sword there.

I think you should make a walker, not a massive titan, but like an AT-ST but smaller.
That'd be cool.

I'll be getting to the larger mechanical things later on. Right now I'm just gonna re-work my turret into something far more badass. I think I'm not going to make a completely new actor after all.

No, it'll hover. Just differently.
