Yeah the terrain detection is weird, I had to mess around with the foot atomgroups just to get it to stand on top of it, and even now it sinks a little. Those walking limbpaths still have me baffled, too. Still, I think I have it fairly playable, it's the best I could do :P

I'm gonna start on a drop-ship today, expect one fairly soon :]

edit: I have a little drop-pod I was using before. It looks crappy and it's essentially the DarKlone insertion pod with a bunch of tweaks, but what do you think?

Droppod is awesome.
You should make it gib on contact, like the KMF pod, but keep the acceleration.
And make some Blue fire effects.

Before you added that awesome squid crab and started with those promising drop pods, I really didn't think this mod was that good.
Now you seem to be showing your real skill!

I suggest going back and making some off the weapons stand out a bit more though.
And I personally think you should use more armour attachables.
But I think everyone should.

I only noticed the crab now from what metal Chao said and it looks mental. You sure as heck better make a trojan horse dropship of some sort.

Make it so enemy units don't shoot the horse dropship down, because when the romans
gave other empires the trojan horse, the didn't know that the horse had enemy troops, so when they went to sleep, the romans anihalated thee kingdom.

Or just make it explode super-huge.

Anywho, the only way to do that would be to make it a team2 actor dropping team1 actors, and even then your own guys would be shooting "your own" dropship. There's no real way to do this effectively.

If I remember,
CharHeight = 999999999999999999999
makes their HP bar dissapear.
and if high enough, then nothing will shoot it.
I tried placing an Actor with CharHeight = 999999999999999999999,
Then enemy troops ignored it.

Have you considered making gladiator themed actors? Robots that look like murmillos and samnites, different weapons, stuff like that. Maybe like an 'expansion' to this mod after this one is finished.

My favorite weapon so far is the SMG, it just looks so cool when it fires!

But most of the guns have iffy sounds
If I'm right in thinking that they're mainly guass guns, then they should sound somewhat like conventional firearms, but louder. (sonic boom)

can you make a round drop pod with 8 thrusters like this:

....><

So basically, when you push up, only the thrusters that would make it roll right go off, and when you push down, only the trusters that would make it go left go off. There you'd have a rolling siege machine for base penetration.

The greeks gave ONLY to the kingdom of Troy a big wooden hollow statue of a horse as a surrendering "gift", it was full of soldiers who killed the guards and opened the gates. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Trojan_Horse
