Grappling hook- gun that shoots a heavy shell, the shell emmits a harmless particle that causes you to move in the same speed and direction as the shell, the shell would gib if touched by any surface and spray harmless, invisible particles in your direction to slow you down, in order to land.

drop pod mech- drop pod that emmits particles into itself when it's hatch opens, so that once it dumps it's cargo it gibs into an animation of it turning into a mech, this gib will emmit into itself particles just strong enough to gib it once the animation ends. this gib will gib into the mech that the drop pod seemed to turn into.

Grappling hook idea makes no sense to me, and I don't think it'd work.

The drop pod is a great idea though, try it for the love of god!

The problem with the kind of "suction" you're describing with the grappling hook idea is that it'll probably just rip off the actor's head.

Suction devices have to be very weak to work or else they're just mini-blackholes.

Yeah, so it'd only be able to lift crabs essentially.
It's ridiculous.
