It does not hurt actors, nor does it collide with them at all. Also, as Thanatos said posts above, reducing the game's physics acceleration (using the 1 and 2 keys) will compact it better. At standard speed, it might compact the same.

For some reason... I don't know why... I liked the long streams of snow colliding with the actors. Maybe we need a rain map next or somethin.

Yeah, Data should implement weather effects some time. I might make another map soon, but right now I'm making Icelands' base.

Thanks, wutangfan. I'm a big fan of recycling (mods, that is). Ppiksmada, it's the scoped weapon. I liked it when the creator released it, so I thought I'd pay homage to them and include it with the pack. NINJA EDIT: Status Update: Working on bases for two teams, thinking about graduating the hill better so actors don't get stuck, going to implement an airlock sort of door thingy (sealed room w/ two doors). Been thinking about adding a small vent system (small enough that actors cannot pass through) that emits steam outside of the bunker. Any more ideas are appreciated, thanks.

Hey uberhen, I had an idea playing your map. A much harsher, Arctic level. Basically, after the nuclear wars, the arctic was the only place remotely livable anymore. Except, it's not really livable. Unless you hide deep underground.
Can I make it and give it to you to release?

I swear, you are psychic. I had this exact idea the other day. I thought of creating 'atomic snow' that when it hit you, you'd take damage. Or, the snow could be null.bmp, for a more invisible radiation effect. Go for it. I'll make a separate topic. (If I come up with any new ideas, can I add them to your map? I could post two versions, if I think of anything to add.) Thanks Thanatos.

I came up with this while making your snow.
And what I intend to do is have "tainted rain" that is a slightly greener color. It lands, contaminates that area for a bit. Add to that some ice that damages very weak/exposed flesh, and that makes up the reasons why not to go outside.
Then I plan on adding some smokestacks, and build in turrets to the base defense, and the turrets would be tied in to an energy supply in the center of the base.
Sure, add whatever you would like.
If I could get some sprites for this, I could have it done in a few days.

Hey, take your time man. This is a great idea. About the turrets: when you say they're tied to an energy source in the base, do you mean if you destroy it, the turrets will cease to operate? Or would this system be aesthetic only?

As in if the energy source (some highly unstable thing, maybe a variant of my reactors) blows, so do the turrets.
