Ultra Soldiers Mod
This is my Second Mod (first Released) which contains a selection of weapons and a few actors most of which are meant to be balanced, the original point of this mod was to create a (roughly) double strength coalition soldier and roughly double strength weapons to go with them most of the weapons are supposed to be fair to use against 'vanilla' opponents but some are designed to be extremely powerful and tend to be expensive to make up for this (but some probabally need cost balancing) these weapons arent that effective against Darklones, AAL or other tough opponents yet can stand a chance against 'vanilla' opponents and balanced opponents The actors are slightly tougher than coalition soldiers but have much stronger helmets and chest plates
the one problem i have found with the actors is they are quite weak and die very quickly when hit in their unarmoured points (can this be changed with wounds?? - I have already increased gib limits and joint strengths) but this makes them more fun to use in my opinion
Edit: fixed the ball cannon Edit2: lowered the fire effect on the grenades, added more effects to the cannons and completely remade the hax0r railgun More Editing: added a cool new cannon and made the Hax0r Railgun better Last Edit: added a sprayer and changed some sprites Credits to The Fat Sand Rat for new the helmet sprite
Contents of the mod: 3 actors heavy drop pod rocket (WIP) spazzed bomber rocket thing (WIP) 2 SMG's 3 types of grenade launcher (one is dual weildable and includes the offhand version) 5 types of cannon 2 types of automatic rifle 3 types of railgun (there are two skins of one of them) 5 types of grenade (3 are of varying grades of Uber) 3 types of pistol (one of which has a offhand version) 2 types of shield 3 types of shotgun A grenade launcher that shoots a very laggy terain clearing and general killing round, is dual weildable, includes offhand version (VERY Uber) A Lazer A Sprayer A Very heavy digging tool And a very WIP sucking device (tends to kill the user when used on devices but rips apart or doesn't affect actors)

Pack calls for Base.rte/Devices/Ball2.bmp that does not exist.
When I fixed that, I found a decent pack underneath. Not the best, not the worst. Lulzbomb made me laugh.

generic heavy clone+new colors+some generic guns+new colors=your pack. sorry but no dl. looks like a re sprite to me.
i was bored so i re tested your mod so now i like it.

I cant really argue with that considering that is what it is i am not really all that good a spriter, the only things i made myself are the Awesome sauce sprite (it was going to be a huge shotgun, you should be able to see some of the blunderbuss in there somwhere!) and the bigger of the two shields (the grenade launchers and sniper are just recolours of guns from the sprite dump)

Vanilla does need more generic guns. So this seems like a good pack, you'll have add some more unique creativity on your next one, though.

These just look like a re-sprite of normal clones and soldiers. Il DL just to see whats so "Ultra" about them.

Looks to me like a decent first attempt at coding, I'll give it a try.
*edit* I like it, I mean, most of the sprites sucked, but that can be excused. Didn't really look at the soldiers, or the stuff that cost 5000.
Some of the weapons were quite nice, the light grenade launcher for one, although way too much fire effects. And one of the railguns, although stuff that goes through the whole bloody map is frowned upon, especially by me.

By the way Which railgun did you like? just so you know the railguns had to have terrain rape for the damage they do but i will try to make them do less terrain damage soon (see what i did with the Hax0r railgun). Update: completeley redone one of the railguns and changed some effects on most of the explosives, see first post for updated DL
