I have an Xbox 360 controller that is wireless but I got a wireless controler thats rechargable so it comes with a cord. Anyways I plugged it into my computer to try and use it and it said it was being used by something else or something so I tried redoing the instalation and it wont even recognize that its plugged in now. Is there anythign you guys think I could do to get it workign for 2 player?

You have to buy a specific accessory to communicate with wireless controllers, as far as I know.

Well it found it and recognized it but i accidentaly turned it on and I think it stopped because it said it was being used by something else and My xbox was using it but its not just for charging. I think that at least if you want I could post a picture of it.

Correct. You need a special accessory to use wireless controllers. However, if you have a wired one a little searching can find you the driver.

If it says it's IN USE, and you're USING IT on your 360...maybe, just MAYBE, if you STOP using it on your 360, it won't be IN USE on your computer!

The problem being, can you sync it to your computer? But sync it to what I wonder... if you don't have the receiver.

UHG... NO NO NO Techicnaly my controller is wires its just a removable wire OK????? And I think I found something I can downlaod to fix it.

No I have tried this, you cannot use the charge and play kit to link a controller to your computer. The cord (according to the official xbox website) is not a data link, it only charges the controller.
