Does anyone else here find Ike ridiculously overpowered?
I think his hits are wayyy to strong he can send light characters straight to death even if they are at 0%. He is supposed to be a slow character but he has speed on him plus ranged moves. I love to play as hm put he has too much of an edge on everyone else.

I think you're probably just good with Ike. The game is pretty balanced.

Ike is awesome, though very slow. Actually not too slow though considering EVERY move except Aether and nair are power moves and those are pretty strong too. Ranged moves? lolwhere?

Does anyone else find Olimar exceedingly lame and annoying?
Also, they may have given a bit more thought to the AI. It's just like melee - they make very stupid decisions and kill themselves all the time, but when you're fighting them, they have superhuman reflexes.

Olimar is one of the only characters that I think is really impressive. He requires some thought to master, not reflexes or lame fast-twitch tactics like dash-dancing or whatever.

Olimar is in it?!? he's no fighter all he has is a punch that can take down huge fiery beasts that are 5 times the size of him and command pikmin... actually come to think of it he would make an awesome fighter.

I agree entirely, I also feel that the Ice Climbers are a little tougher than most people think.

But I can beat ANYONE with King DeDeDe and ROB! Not to be cocky.

i think that this game is alot more balanced then melee but pit's flying time IS WAY TO LONG! uber groar! he can just fly and hover around for the whole match. ike is a freaking beast! lulz. his double jump is smaller then most peoples single jump. his B^ is very high though. i <3 his B[>] (im going to call B[side] B> because its easier for me.) B> then to B^ is a nasty combo if you can fully charge B>

i like lucario and wario. im probobly going to major as wariop, secondary as lucario then for fun play as the other characters. i dont like how lucario's BV(B down) can sometimes throw you off the edge. he is amazing when you play sudden death melee cause he is freaking insane! his ball is also fun.

i like to use the bike with wario, go fast, wheelie, jump off the bike and let it fall on the enemy then double jump and B^ back on stage. its hard but very fun. his final smash can be a little more powerful i think.

Ganondorf = Big risk, big payoff, as in, KNOCKS HEAVIES OUT IN 2 HITS.

But seriously, I grew bored with the game after 3 days, thank god it was rental. For all the characters and items and trophies, there really didn't seem to be much variety, I mean, at least 4 characters were just clones of other characters (Lucas, wolf, CF, falco, etc.)

The best fighting game hands down ever was Power Stone 2, and anyone who missed out on that... well, that makes me cry.

I think the pokemon characters ruin the game, sure the pokemon trainer guy is ok but thats it... maybe pikachu becuase that is almost the pokemon mascot basically for a while.

pokemon is a horrible franchise that makes the EXACT SAME GAME EVERY TIME*, yes they basically update engine when new console comes out, add more pokemon each time, slightly change the plot and names, give it a makeover, stick a new title on- two versions mind you one for one legendary pokemon and one for the other... profit, sometimes there is a change but that's about it, and yet thousands of people love it .

I hate pokemon.

*sometimes they make other games, but they are all pokemon titles.
