ITT: The second I hear browser flaming emerge from anyone's lips it's a board warning.

Just a mild precautionary.

Cough, I have a cough.

You know, your dad can still use IE and you can use FF...

But yes, when I first got FF and opened it, it automatically had all of IE favorites in the BookMarks.

And my memory on Firefox has never gone above 200k(I've had 72 tabs open at once). The only reason it would is if you went to several hundred webpages very quickly as FF keeps the recent ones stored so your browsing experience will be faster. Studies show people press the back button a lot or something like that etc etc.

That's strange, because in my experience, if I leave only a few tabs open, and go to bed, there's usually a huge memory leak, but it might just be the pages I have open.

.. Come to think of it, I left a bunch of pages open and went to bed last night, so... Wow, it's only using 252M, not too shabby. Next time it hits 500M, I'll give FF3b a shot.

Oh yeah, and 72 tabs? That's impressive. I've never had over 33.

lol diviantart with over 350 art to look at (I admire fire art for I'm an english gentleman- tophat & monocle not included, in stores now) I TRY to open up 100 at a time and it almost freezes my computer after about 16 7, but I have recently upgraded to 3 beta... AND AFTER 100 MIDDLE MOUSE CLICKS... IT HANDLES IT WELL, little lag and the compuet is still very much so usable. http://i30.tinypic.com/2enqpvp.jpg

I noticed on FF2 sometimes it wouldn't get a little bookmark picture but on the beta it will obtain it when you go to that website if it failed to when you bookmarked, it makes it easier to glimpse at your bookmarks then read the text.
