And mod presets?
As in, a bunch of sets, like "PRESET 1= Darklones+AAL" that you could set yourself. Excellent ideas. I like the new UI - looks pretty nice. One thing I noticed with your current mod loader is if you choose "load mods" or "unload mods" you actually HAVE to load/unload a mod (unless you have no mods loaded/unloaded). by this I mean that you cannot back out of it if you change your mind or hit the wrong button. At that point the only input is numbers, so couldn't you just set a letter to make it go back to the main menu? I guess it wont matter if you're making a new version, but just a tip.

Re: Cortex Command Mod Loader
Hmm... Noted! I could make the "Presets" in a expandeble section there. Though i will keep the Preset Syntax a little easier . (Because i am lazy and that it is more efficent to make.) Example preset file: Code: PRESET Aewsum_Mods! DarKlones.rte AAL.rte DSTech.rte PRESET Vanilla_lolz Base.rte Promgrounds.rte I have yet to make any code . So the interface is subject to change. And i want to request a icon for the app later . The program will have all previous features plus many new :3.

Re: Cortex Command Mod Loader
here is a quick mock-up I made for you on the ideal mod loader, when you click on one of the "save preset" slots a naming dialog box should come up (which must have cancel so you don't overwrite), preset should be the same as the save preset menu, except when you click on one it should load that preset . edit: lol, why did I leave exit on the save preset menu

Re: Cortex Command Mod Loader
Eww... Menubar :S. I could make "Pages" to switch between. The first is the normal Load\Unloading page and the other one wich handle presets. Would be easier for the user to use too .

Re: Cortex Command Mod Loader
When I used this application to unload all mods the 'e' command. It removed the VANILLA side files as well, like Dummy.rte, Coalition.rte and Ronin.rte. Aside from that this is a very helpful application.

Re: Cortex Command Mod Loader
I looked at the title, I got really excited. I immediately downloaded it and tried it out. Until then I thought....Why the hell do I need this anyway?
But the new load/unload and list out mods fuction does makes it better.

Re: Cortex Command Mod Loader
hey i tried to say this earlier but i think something went wrong when i was posting anyways i love this little program, yeah you could just cut off the end of the file but this makes it so much easier. and something i would love to see is a little option to change the defualt activites to something else... this would make this a much more accesable feature and noobproof. also i think everyone would support this idea.

Re: Cortex Command Mod Loader
Ok...two questions: One: i click on the download link and it takes me to a blank page. Am I missing something? Two: The first CC Mod manager I stumbled upon was only formatted for PC (can you guess? I'm working from a Mac ) Your version can be Mac usable too?

Freeflow wrote: Your version can be Mac usable too? Not yet. Probably never. However, it's not exactly hard to make folders, label them based on a certain type of mod (level, weapon, actor, faction, etc) and then use the right-click menu to assign a color to a given mod to rate it. And that's leaving out spotlight comments, which are really easy to search through. Well, some people would call that work, but you can even just make a folder action in OSX to do that for you. Perhaps I'll whip up a set of Applescripts or mini-programs to do this sort of thing, now that I know people might care. But your best bet is just manual moving.
