Is it possible with the current CC build to simulate the rolling of a round object?

So there could be an actor that rolls instead of using legs?

Not really, no.

Wheeled vehicles don't work.

Legs have to be attached to stuff. It won't roll unless you make the whole actor roll, which kind of defeats the purpose.

Freestanding MOSRotatings roll, though.

What about just a completely round actor with a rotating rim and a fixed center?

thats the definition of a wheel. but rolling actors have been done before, despite the fact that they failed hard.

Yes, we could!!!
But that'd just be a gib sprayer or something, not anything related to a wheel.

Uhh, no. It'd just be a sprayer that releases round objects. It wouldn't do anything interesting at all.

I think that was supposed to mean, a round object, that sprays particles, to make it spin, like one of those retarded fireworks. and that's been done, in the form of an ARocket before, it was a big-ass roller, and I don't remember who made it but it was fun.

Also, if you made legs round, and REALLY messed with the limb-paths you could make wheel-legs (that roll forward and back), unfortunately, that would be permanently doing the cha-cha, unless you could make the leg lift up after it rolled forward (so that it would be switching from one 'wheel leg' to another) it would be retarded, but it *MIGHT* work. I'd test it but I need a new comp before I can even play anymore. someone who's really good at offsets, sprites, and actors, I think should try this.
