   |   Re: The Riggers - Army ideaOk, i made a weapon a while ago that OB is letting me post. He did help me with the name and the story behind it. The Nano Deconstructor: This was an exparemental tinkerer weapon that shoots out a canister of contained nano-machines. The nano-machine then violently deconstruct whatever they touch. But as a fail-safe, so they don't kill everything on the planet, they made the nano machines explode after only a few seconds & stay within a small area. Pics: File:

   |   Re: The Riggers - Army ideaI really like it actually, it looks good, has interesting fluff, and it's a useful weapon. And its function is very simple, it fires an emitter which looks like a cloud of little robots, which gibs into another emitter which looks like those robots activated and flying around.

 Well done.

   |   Re: The Riggers - Army ideaJust updated the first post with two new bruiser weapon descriptions and a concept drawing of the Bruiser Pistol. I wouldn't mind some help with the Bruiser cannon concept. I keep drawing a blank when I sit down to design it.

   |   Re: The Riggers - Army ideaNot bad. I suppose that could work, and if it doesn't, could always just be a different weapon.

   |   Re: The Riggers - Army ideaSo am I correct in understanding that, for the most part, the Riggers develop their own technologies? What about the technology of those they capture/kill/enslave? Do they assimilate other technologies or just destroy it all together?

   |   Re: The Riggers - Army ideaThat you are. It really depends on the technology. Riggers prefer using solid slugs as opposed to energy weapons as there's not much more painful than having a metal object enter your body and fragment. Rigger technology is actually more high tech than they let on. They're actually capable of making use of antimatter. They simply don't as the instantaneous annihilation of the target isn't very fun for them.

   |   Re: The Riggers - Army ideaHaha, that's so cool. Oh by the way, with the permission of yourself, and all those that made these mods I'd like to release a single RTE with the mods featured on your front page. It isn't the cleanest but works well, oh and its ONE RTE. cough. I wouldn't mind keeping up with new content and putting it into one RTE and giving to you to release in the mods section once you feel it's complete.
For those who need to ask, I have no idea what drove me to do 2 hours of work.

   |   Re: The Riggers - Army ideaThe single RTE version. Tested.
To tell you the truth, some of the weapons seem unbalanced. The fletchette has too long of a reload time for three shots, and the riggers are a tad expensive, for having only one unit type. So I dunno. Some of the offsets seem wierd, too, when in Sharp-Mode the weapons are above their eyelines.

   |   Re: The Riggers - Army ideaTosty is a good spriter, no doubt, but could get a bit more color into his sprites?
I mean, shades of gray get kinda boring after a while.
