Emitters constantly "resting"...
Yeah, so... I've got a really neat emitter-based bomb here, but alas, the emitters from it keeps "resting", even though i did set RestThreshold to -500. I've also made them emit some particles to keep them moving, but that doesn't work either. Do i really have to make an MOSRotating to attach the emitters to, or is there a way to prevent this resting?
Edit: I could of course pin the emitters, but then it doesn't look as good as if they're moving...

Also, -500 is used to PREVENT resting.

That's what the problem is. RestThreshold is at -500, and yet they still rest. An emitter can't work if it's rested, obviously

Uh, how are you getting an emitter to rest. Usually the emissions prevent that.
You must have some wierd settings.
That and having stand-alone emitters is bad form in my opinion.

Yeah, in my experience, emitters will die if they're not moving and not pinned. Just attach it to a MOSRotating.

The Repeller bomb that launches 3 constantly moving emitters that are being thrown around using 360 particle emission. Its supposed to smash stuff. Now I had the same problem as shook, except that my emitters gibbed. Even when the gib limits werent even near the values they should be. And if i'd remove the gib code, they'd dissappear suddenly. Did the MOSRotating + Attached emitter work for you shook?

Well, they disappeared instantly, but i suppose that it can be fixed So far, i've just settled with pinning, it works nicely, and doesn't look half bad either, considering the properties of the bomb...
