Hey guys. I think I have a pretty decent rig and I seem to lag HORRIBLY in this game..
Here are my specs:
GeForce 8600GT (Prolly the lowest-end of the system.. if not this then the processor)
AMD 64 x2 4400+ 2.2GHz Dual Core
2GB DDR2 PC6400 Kingston RAM (Dual Channeled 2 x 1gb)
500GB SATA II Hard Drive

I really just can't figure out why I lag so bad.. I can run crysis on medium without any lag but I can't play cortex?
Maybe it IS because of my graphics card, but for now I just want to know if theres any solution to make this run better.

Also, I'm using the latest stable nvidia graphics drivers, and as we speak im testing the beta ones to see if that does anything.

CC doesn't use the graphics card much, it's the processor that it rapes.

Describe the kind of lag.

Is everything all stuttery with a frame rate of about 0.25?

Or is everything just slow?

If it's just slow, try pressing 1.

Nah on normal maps like Promgrounds and Grassland
I get like 60FPS. but then when I try to play (a silo complex, for example) I get like 10 FPS just normally. and when i activate, say a black hole bomb (mini not full) it'll just get like 2-3FPS.

I'll try pressing 1, and ill tell you if it works.
