Anyways, it's great that this is going to be free, but you can be sure EA will sneak in a million advertisements, or the game will just be plain buggy. Art style really doesn't matter, though it is a bonus if it's cool, when the game is free. Forgot to mention they're going to have that stupid "pay for special items" option that MMO's love to include. No advantages, just special costume items and maybe vehicle skins. I don''t think there are ads, and from the gameplay in the trailer, it looked pretty solid (Riding on an airborne plane's wing FTW. @3 solid: New as in new to the Battlefield series.

Re: Battlefield Heroes
I'm guessing there's no chance of it being moddable, which is a shame, because mods are what made 1942 so great.
Still, having a possibly large player base to go with a decent and free game should be nice.

Wow. How incredibly douchey. 10 bucks says when this comes out, everyone will be like "IVE NEVER SEEN THIS ART STYLE BEFORE ITS ORIGINAL AND COOL" Goddamnit. Tf2 needs to get more popular.

It's like saying that Call of Duty 4 stole Battlefield 2's art style, cause they're both modern warfare games. There are more than one game with an art style allowed, you know.

Crash your bike as hard as you can!
Hey, I finally found an old flash game I used to play on metalslugdb.com forums and its one of my ultimate favorites of all time. Your goal is to crash your bike into a random guy and then watch him fly far away and at the same time beat even more crap out of him in midair with some really wierd stuff to make him fly even further! http://www.puffgames.com/nanaca-crash/My own personal highscore atm is this: 13439.98 m See how far can you make this poor fella fly and post your highscore here!

Re: Battlefield Heroes
In reference to the Battlefield Heroes post (my post got moved down here for some reason...) Agree w/ Purple: Incredibles did it first. It's a great movie, by the way. If you haven't seen it, go watch it. It's probably the second to last decent animated movie that Disney will ever make. Ratatouille was great too. EDIT: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Battlefield_HeroesTHREE CLASSES, WHAT THE HECK. AND: - "...although they must be entered like a vehicle, and not true wing walking." - You can't pick Spawn points. This was a huge part of Battlefield in my opinion. How the heck are you going to get to the APACHE ATTACK HELICOPTER, PANZER, or MOBILE ANTI-AIRCRAFT vehicles if they are all the way back at your base? And how can you pick your comrades up in battle if the only helicopter/truck/tank is at your base? LOLREALLYLONGWALK. - "Matchmaking will also be a feature to keep players of the same level together. Players of each level will play with other players within a couple levels of their own." Though I don't like getting pwnzored by veterans, how will we ever learn advanced play quickly? All my hopes and dreams of this game have been shattered.

Re: Link Dump
Chill out, it's not released for another 6 months or so, plenty of time to rectify the mistake.
And even if it isn't, who knows? It may work out after all.

Nikujin. Japaneese side scroller. INCLUDING NINJA Ok, This thread exists on FacePunch, but i didnt want to copy/paste it, mainly becasue all of you will get mad. So instead I will only use pics form it. Nikujin is a side scroller. You area a ninja (naked) and you must go and defeat all tons of evil guys. There are 4 types of bad guys. A shuriken thower, sword welder, staff welder (very deadly), and a SUICIDE bomber. In the middle, and in the end of the game you will fight a boss. Ok time for features. You can do a standard slash, stealth kills, head kills, uhh boosts in running and roof clinging. There is also wall climbing and wall bouncing Controls/Tips:-Use the arrow keys to move around. -Shift is Jump -Control is Attack -F1 is to look at these controls. -F2 Is Return to the Main Menu -F8 Removes the Menu Bar -Alt-S is Pause >>>DOWNLOAD<<<and now time for some pics. Menu Translated in english First level And attack

It's a hilariously offensive parody of forum pwnage, operating like an RPG. You play as an emo kid, a camwhore, or a troll and go out into the internet and pwn forums for people. It's quite hilarious, and though the gameplay definitely isn't good enough to keep anyone entertained for long, the content more than covers it. It plays directly in your browser and is pretty easy to pick up. Also, a requirement to play the game is that you aren't offended easily. So keep that in mind. They're apparently semi-close to coming up with a major update, so if you like it, then stick around for awhile. There's also a feature that lets you (quite easily) contribute to the game, so if you're into writing satire about the internet, it's a great thing to get into. http://www.forumwarz.com
