yeah, I'd like to make it like the clone farm actually: where you can spawn them when you need them, rather than an unstoppable, annoying emitter.

Can you make it so it replaces skeletons? :)

YOU can, by modifying the activities.ini in base.rte after adding the mod's info to index.ini and then- well, just read the wiki.

Lol, his instructions weren't great. I'd do it for you, but I never tried hard enough to get this to work myself.

The instructions on the wiki aren't that great either. I did EXACTLY what it said, but I get 'wrong property' or 'wrong property number' or something.
Piss annoying.

Everything is Case Sensitive. You have to make sure you have the class, ACRocket, or ACrab stuff defined correctly too.

I might post a more detailed better guide sometime this week.

I also like this pack, but I feel it needs more content, maybe more variety of scrap robots. And make them at least as strong as the robots in base.rte.

EPIC FAIL! of course I'm not going to make them as strong as the base.rte robots, the idea is that they are MEANT to be weak, disposable soldiers. idiot!

when I have the time to start modding again I'll make some more stuff for this pack, a sharpshooter is my next planned one, and some kind of scrap tank monster.

I love these things. You get a real sense of absolute crap smashed together into the shape of a humanoid robot. Bits falling off, sparks shooting everywhere. The jetpacks are emissions nightmares. The guns are close to complete uselessness. I think it's perfect. Just need a dispenser for these things and I'd be content.

It is a good pack indeed.
However, the minigun thing needs to be able to hit people, it currently has a 90 degree inaccuracy.

i dont like the robots for their weakness... but i love the guns; in pertiular the SCAR and the scrap cannon they're cheap but effective.

Post Re: Scrap Series
thanks, I'm surprised you can even USE the scrapcannon, even I don't use that pile of crap. :P
if you want to overwrite the skellies, do it yourself, it takes too long and is too tricky for me.
When I get around to modding again, here's a list of mods you can expect:
-Dispensers
-Sharpshooter Scrap
-Scrap Heavy Support Robot - think big arse ACrab with a lot of very weak attachables. if I can do it right, it'll look different every time it get's hurt. one hit break attachables in bulk should give it that unstoppable scrap leviathin. It's gonna be tricky.
