   |   Re: The Riggers - Army ideaI prefer your chainsaw, just make the blade a bit longer and it would be mental. I dont like the red bits on MrEvilPoni's chainsaw. Not that its bad or anything I just prefer Tosty's.

   |   Re: The Riggers - Army ideaAh yes, quite lovely. MrEvilPoni's Rigger is all I expected it to be, which is very good. Both Riggers just need Gibs now, then perhaps we can figure out Tinkerers. Also, Thunderclap Rifles would be good for dealing with those damned Heavy DarKlones. The Rip Cannon eventually whittles them down, but it takes awhile.

So.. Any speculation on scenes? I might be able to... you know... come up with something, if you tell me what you want.

I played around with weapon coding and could never get the bloody things to work right. Lord Tim wrote: This is turning out pretty well.

Scenes? That's a bit of a toughie. Rigger lairs tend to be abandoned military or research facilities. They like to pick such facilities in particularly hostile areas, like planets with very low or high temperatures. Main bases tend to be their black ships. I haven't come up with a design for these ships yet. I suppose they would occasionally build their own facilities on planets with toxic atmospheres to keep outsiders from snooping.

   |   Re: The Riggers - Army ideaThose are looking great!I prefer EvilPoni's guy, it's more hunched and evil.

But why would you want to dual-wield a chainsaw?
 One is enough.

   |   Re: The Riggers - Army ideaMy suggestion for the tinkerers: Make them a bit more hunched-back, and have all these wierd mechanical devices hanging from them (Attachments).

   |   Re: The Riggers - Army ideaI totally need to get someone to attach the Rigger jetpack to MrEvilPoni's Actor. I tried doing it myself, but I just can't get it to work. Also, I think I may try my hand at Rigger armor design. I'll do it in pieces though. Would be much easier. I'm sure that might be holding up armor development. No one's sure what to make it look like.
Edit: I updated the first post with an attempt at the Tinkerer Powered Armor. I couldn't come up with anything for the head or legs. I've always had difficulty with legs anyway. I'd imagine the abdomen area would be protected by a very flexible, but durable material. Not sure what it'd be. Maybe a special type of cloth or plastic. Perhaps it's made up of articulated metal plates, which would make more sense on highly protective powered armor.

   |   Re: The Riggers - Army ideaWell here is a bit updated version of Rigger + NOT dual wieldable RigSaw + Huge Double RigSaw. But i couldn't get them to grab the weapon with the other hand. Has no custom gibs yet, and he needs custom sounds too. PIX. Attachment: Riggers.rte.rar

   |   Re: The Riggers - Army ideaThe Rigsaw should just be a two-handed weapon. Dual-wielding them would be a bit too silly. The double Rigsaw would probably be something Surgeons would use. Tinkerers prefer ranged combat. I really like all the work that has been done for this little race I've created. Didn't think they'd get this much attention. All the work that has been put into this is much appreciated. Guys are kinda helping me flesh them out a bit.
