 Re: 24 hours to live.
gonna phone Grif and Dauss and ask to wait up, but excessively speed no matter their answer, if they say yes I'll drive down to them and slow down so as we're all at about the same place.

You don't get it.
We're going at least as fast as you are, and we have a significant head start. You don't have a CHANCE to catch up with us.

 Re: 24 hours to live.
(Couldn't the nuke just be blown out of the sky by the army? You need decent amount of nukes to penetrate the defensive nuke shields placed around the US. The laser/missile systems are pretty damn accurate. So are the Boing planes with lasers attached that would shoot a bunch of the nukes out of the sky before they even got NEAR the U.S.....I don't think that 1 nuke even has a chance.....)

The president has just announced that the first missile will hit in exactly 24 hours due to cheap Korean engeneering. The president has just announced that the first missile will hit in exactly 24 hours due to cheap Korean engeneering. Not one, but the first of said missiles. The government is going to have a hard time trying to stop the rest of them from hitting population dense zones.

You mean the 747s with massive chemical lasers in them that leak noxious chemicals out the ass and have yet to undergo a single successful test? Or do you mean the ground based laser defense systems which don't work AT ALL? The only "defense" against missiles that the US has is the Patriot Missile System, which is not guaranteed in the slightest to take out anything larger than a surface to surface missile. ICBMs split into six to eight warheads about two hundred miles away from the target. That's a hell of a lot more than the range of a Patriot, and even then the individual warheads are traveling at multiple times the speed of sound. The US has no defense against intercontinental ballistic missiles, nor does any other country. Stop reading so much Tom Clancy, please.

 Re: 24 hours to live.
I request that Grif and Dauss go save Whitty. A two man heli could actually have four people total in/on it. Two people can sit on the little things that I forget the name of.

 Re: 24 hours to live.
They could rip the sleeves off their shirts, then rip those to get a sort of line, then they could tie their legs to the rails.
