Re: Resident evil 2 mod W.I.P.
hideous sprites are hideous. Very poor criticism. More like:
The sprites lack shading and detail, and they look rather ugly.
needs more work, ALOT more work.

I'm going to stay in my happy smiley newbie helping mood right now.
Your sprite needs some more shading, when a light shines on someone they aren't all the same shade of.. whatever color skin is.
Add darker areas to certain edges, lighter areas to the opposite edges and lightish/darkish areas in between to add a little fade from dark to light.
Shading is simple when you understand it, just keep messing around until the sprites look right.
Good luck with the mod, welcome to datarealms, and don't feed the trolls.

Here's the deal--try not to release mods that you know are bad. If you are aware the sprites are bad, continue to work with them or move onto something new.
Do not upload, then be surprised when we say they are bad. Make a decent mod first. Don't upload your first mod.

This better be a very rough draft of your mod cause the sprites are absolutley horrible. Their is a little thing called shading look it up.
