Yes, the monthly cost is a sh­itload unless you want to be a hobo class. And figuring out how to craft anything in it is f­uc­king impossible.

There's a welfare system for players who suck at it.

I just tried "Real life" it sucks, the "Welfare system" doesnt apply to people under 18

EVE Online is cool. I played it for about a year, but I had a hell of a lot of fun. The great thing is, leveling up happens offline as well as when you're playing. I was running a battleship whilst helping my corporation start manufacturing at their space station.

True, and the "LOL NOOB!!" debuff is quite nice

Yeah it's great until level take months, sometimes 6 months, to complete. It's yet another ploy to keep you paying. (I ALMOST said playing, but you don't need to play to level up. It's 100% based on how much time you can pay for, not how good you are)

BUT THE TUTORIAL IS SO LONG AND REPETITIVE

In fact I think the Albatross Golf one was my favorite MMO Roulette ever back in the day; the part about the jerk with the shields still makes me grin.

Okay, seriously, judging anything based off what ONE place says is quite frankly not smart. Those reviews are HORRIBLY wrong in every way. Not to mention the fact that the one for A18 is a year old. Do you know how many times that game gets updated in a year?
