I fight a war of words. Not angry ones, either. I represent, or attempt to, objectivity. Nothing more. I have no side, no team, no faction. I am a newcomer to this community, but I hope to placate it with the powers of reason.

I recognize that what I am saying could easily be taken as outrageous; who am I to claim any authority over this community.

But that is exactly my point. I have no claim of authority over anyone, thus no one can protest my offer to mediate. I am stepping on no one's toes, unless, that is, you all actually enjoy having a community that is split into two sides by a bitter conflict.

If I am unwanted, I will leave. Before anything comes to anger.

I have no interest in any faction. My goal is not the removal of anyone from the community; my goal is for every user on these forums to think before they post.

And if they do not post rationally, I come to offer an explanation of their meaning, and to defend their ideal rationally whenever it is not defended to the full ability of the poster.

ProjektTHOR: I have been accused of being an alt of more people on more forums than you might find imaginable, and really, I don't think I can find any reliable way to "appease" anyone of my integrity. If you can propose an honest test, I will gladly submit to it.

Unfortunately, my goal on these forums cannot truly be accomplished without some element of community interaction, and your community seems reluctant, at best, to integrate me. If anyone would be willing to help me find where I my, ah, "services" are required, I would be most grateful. Any kind of long-standing dispute on these forums, any kind of enmity or prejudice between members, any kind of rivalries between modding factions; if you have ANY details on it, PLEASE brief me in a PM, or this thread.

The IRC vs Forum is a joke, there's no real conflict that I see, at least not that has anything to do with the fact that they are IRCers or forumites.

More to do with seniority than anything.
