						Eeep... I take it there's no way to fix your board then? I came close to flashing the bios on my comp, but I just didn't want to have to go through the ♥♥♥♥ that would rain down on me should I have ♥♥♥♥ up.

Anyway, aside from attention want, this really has no point. I don't even think it's true, seeing as the whole "Don't update from widows, even from the makers site" kinda rules out all legitimate updates.
