my car breaks down on the highway. so i stay there trying to fix it for the next 14 hours.

I phone ahead and ask Grif to wait up, while I raid a gas station that the owner has left unlocked. After fueling up the car, grabbing some extra fuel cans, (Filled) more water and a good supply of energy drinks, bagged food, and finding an old revolver behind the register, I find a box of .44 rounds, three quarters filled. Inside are about 30 shots, 6 are still in the chamber of the revolver.

After spending about 20 minutes in the store, I drive down highway 29 again, where if Grif slowed down for about 40 minutes, we should meet, and still get 20 minutes of distance in down highway 29.

If Grif didn't slow down, then I just make 40 minutes of time down the highway.

I go serial killer on his face, stab him in the eyeballs with something sharp, and leave his mangled body hanging from a tree. I then continue on.
