Harry potter was about a kid who could use magic, it involved unicorns, creatures that killed you via. eating your soul, shape shifting, broomsticks, magic spells, potions, and a cliche personnel nemesis for our Protagonist to fight, and a cliche main Antagonist who our Protagonist also had to fight. Our Protagonist was scarred for life when he was very young by our Antagonist, his family is 100%
dead forever. They come back as ghosts to save him from dieing so as 3 more sequels can be made.
That sounds about like most books that have magic, and yet J.K. Rowling is worth more than the British royal family for writing a story with every element from other good books.
I consider Harry Potter original because of the plot, and the character's names.
