Post Target sight thingy
Does anyone know where the aiming graphic is located? I want to edit it so it's a little different from ' - - -'

I think it's hardcoded, but you're welcome to try and find it.

If I ever find it I'll post it here so others know. You'd have thought it would be in the GUI folder somewhere but it's elsewhere.

Great... I told data that he could make a crosshair but no, he made the three dots in different color and glow.

Seriously, Data, if youre reading this, GIVE US A PROPER CROSSHAIR PLEASE.

I think a crosshair is only necessary for 3D FPSs. The 3 dot line is very effective in lining up a shot.

I've made a sniper rifle, looks quite nifty, it's just really hard to use because of the little crosshair you get. I agree it's good with closer ranged guns but it's awkward for long range.

Definable aiming sights for HDFirearms in B20/CB2 would be awesome. Or another future build.

Possible types:
- Crosshair (renders defined sprite at position of current furthest dot)
- Laser Sight (line of a definable color from definable position on firearm at angle aimed through air until it hits something, or the edge of the screen, and a small glow is made at this collision)
- Current type (But you can define the amount of dots, distance between, color, etc.)

Ok yes, but 2 things with how you titled the build:
1) For simplicity's sake, I believe the forums will be using the original numbering
2) The next build will be B19. This was only pre-release.. In other words, pseudo-B19
I'm just nitpicky that way

On-topic: Yes, we definitely need custom crosshairs for custom weaponry. That would just be awesomeness. Especially those three options in the quoted post.

You can make Lasersights easily. Just create an attachable with the sprite of the Lasersight, attach it to the Gun. Make it hitMOS and gethitbyMOS 0 and you're ready to go.
