I keep seeing mods getting "Certified", that is, being approved by the online community, from lowly lurkers(meh) to omnipresent 'net heavies(ProjektTHOR)

I think that this is a great idea, the fact that the Cortex Command community is sort of regulating itself.

However, no matter how hard I search, I can't find a "Certified Mods" section. Does it exist? I searched for it and got only references to it- passing whispers of a renowned "certified mods" section, where only the most elite packs of notepad-written code and MSPaint-drawn pixels gather...

DOES ANYONE KNOW WHERE THIS MYSTICAL LAND OF MODS RESIDES?!?!?

It was removed, I don't know why myself but I think people felt it was unfair on upcoming modders.

Certified and uncertified mods were reblended. More proof that half of this forum cannot manage itself.

So now I have to navigate through shitty mods all day? You're kidding me! I'm all for giving modders an equal chance, but when you get down to it, not all mods are created equal!

For example,

DuRH I mad teh GUnz fer meh UBERBOt and itz shArpnEz is like, teh MIllIonz!
(And the attached sprite is HORRENDOUS)

Compare this e-shit to a quality mod, say, the CRobos. Quality pixel craftsmanship. Weapons to boot. Lotsa fluff to flesh out the Crobo storyline. Shouln't THAT be elevated due to its excellence?

You learn the names of the decent modders by heart after a while, then you can just look at theirs. also If it has many pages of replies, its probably worth a look.

Yeah, I noticed that... You've got your gods, like Numgun, a long-time SOLDAT modding veteran (My fav game before I discovered CC) and then there's everybody else...

Again, someone who wasn't here and is talking about a topic like they know something about it.

The crobos were one of the first mods TO be certified as soon as they were converted to B18.

I TOLD you it would fail. Didnt I eh?

To be fair he only just joined,and he has made only clever, witty and coherent posts so far.

I know they were certified, along with the exploding barrels mod, etc. etc. I'm just saying that they should remain certified, or at least have some sort of indicator attached to them (Perhaps a jpeg pic saying "certified" or something)

That would involve a lot of work that I imagine no one here anymore would bother doing.

3 topics-New mods--Cerfified--Non-certified--
always goes in New-until all modder dudes make up there mind, then it goes in the correct section
