It'd be pretty cool, not so much tactical, as much of a useless recall when your bunker gets blown up and/or you want to chase somebody with spike modules.

Of course, it'd probably be more beneficial to people whom have partners to play with, as chasing a person's clone with spikes sounds pretty funny.

It would also have some gameplay-wise benefits, like repairing a broken part of your base, obviously.

There'd probably be a limitation though, like having a set amount of irreplaceable backup/repair funds.

Thoughts?

I think the 'Propose Cease-fire' option in the Pie Menu will be to do with this... As Data mentioned it before that both of the players will have to agree to it.

Yeah, when one team proposes cease fire, the other can accept/reject it. if they accept, all the AI is disabled and both teams go back into base building mode until both signal done again.

Also, any bodies you may have in the other team's half of the scene will be moved back to your half, and you'll be unable to place any new ones on their half during the cease fire.

Additionally, there will be a rule that there has to be a path of air from your brain to the surface before any editing phase can be finished. (There can be doors in the way, though). This will prevent people from completely sealing themselves off. Another rule to balance things out will be that bunker pieces placed deeper underground will cost more to place (excavation cost).

That does sound good. Will there be another version of cease fire when all you can do is mine in your half with diggers? A way to get funds without conflict.

So it's back to modding my brain to have infinity health then... :( And even then the enemies would just stay in the vault, instead of walking on the surface where I can easily kill them. :bs:

Are you serious? I thought it only meant that your team would stop firing altogether.

Man, that's awesome.
