What programming language and graphics API was Cortex Command written in?

As I mentioned in my other thread, I'm looking to create a Worms clone and am very, very impressed with Cortex Command.

Also, does Cortex Command support networking? If so, what library was used for that?

Thanks for any help!

I think SDL is used for graphics, as there are the required dll SDL.dll in the folders, the graphics could be OpenGL too. And if ur looking for internet possibilities take a look at the ZIG http://sf.net/projects/zige/ library
