   |   Re: Level Editor and Online Playi made a gun that makes good water, except after a while it becomes a light sand. it stays there, but when you step on it you go thorugh it. like sand. or the dirt trap module mod.

   |   Re: Level Editor and Online Playi guess it is the bullet. there is a way to make it have no friction so that it is always bouncing around, so that would help.

 Notrly.
It would be doable if a separate system was made for water, I've played tons of games with pixel physics on water.Clonk Planet?

   |   Re: Level Editor and Online PlayAt Cambiogris' post, I know nothing of code but it would be cool if you could get that to work.
 And I need wings.

   |   Re: Level Editor and Online PlayIf you want to make water, why don't you just make a particle with incredibly low friction? That way, it'll slide around a ton, and slip into cracks, thus becoming very much like water? When you jump into a pool of the material, the character's mass will puss it, and the frictionlessness will let the particles slide around the character and push into one another, kinda making a splash...
I'm probably way off, but hey. Worth a shot.

 **edit**

WOAH. Sorry for that. didn't notice how long ago that last post was. Sorry for necroing.

   |   Re: Level Editor and Online PlayTurns out, if you make a good post, it's not really necroing.
Anyways, that does work to make a water-like material, but it still doesn't pool. So all you get is a blue line on the floor that goes back and forth.

   |   Re: Level Editor and Online Playwait, so if you have a bowl made of concrete (or whatever solid material) and you just sit there spraying water into it, it'll just flatten out, kinda like it's combining?

   |   Re: Level Editor and Online PlayPretty much. At least when I tried it, that's what it did. And I haven't seen anyone else do any better.
The reason concrete stacks is because it turns into terrain. But terrain won't act like water.
