i just bought a wii and i set it all up and when i configured the wireless internet i searched for an access point, chose my wireless signal, put in the password, and went to start the connection, but it always says it cannot connect to server or it cannot connect to the internet. the strength of the signal is 2 out of 3 bars. waddas dis mean?



i would prefer help from people who actually have a wii...

Get a wired LAN card. They make your internets SOOO much faster,
and you'll have lagless Super Smash Bros. Brawl.

I seem to have zero lag on my wii, one day it just connected to be honest though, albeit I have 3/3 bars.

my conection has 2/3 bars do i need 3?

I've never not had 3 so I don't know but that would probably help...

It's on by default, from the main wii menu click on wii on the bottom left, then click wii settings, then page 2, then wiiconnect24, you can figure it out from there.

Yeah, my wireless didn't work either on my Wii, then I got a LAN connector from Best Buy and plugged it in directly to my router and everything is working fine.

I bet you haven't allowed the wii mac adress... Im sure about it in fact.
