I've searched every where in build 15, I just finished downloading build 17 and I skipped build 16.

So yeah, how do you change the starting amount of money?

Base.rte

Settings.ini

There should be something like "DefaultStartinggold = 1600" though I can't remember the exact name, you don't have to scroll down to find it. Change 1600 to whatever you want.

What's annoying is after I set my default gold to a high number and play the game once, when I try to start it again it crashes. So I open up Settings.ini and find that the number I put in changed itself to 10.000 x e10
What I want to know is how a text file can change itself to scientific notation all on its own.

You probably put a too high of a number, try something low and make a mod or edit a bunker module to give you money e.g. -100000.

Amazing, changing the starting gold variable to 238423856384q8734q69237461987234691872691823764 doesn't work.

Terrible shame, that.

999,999 is the max that can be set as starting money without causing crashes.
