i cant get my iTunes to get DVDs offa a DVD. i put in the DVD in my DVD drive and open itunes but nothin happens. even if i try to import the DVD nothing happens. WTF???????

You mean you're trying to rip the DVD? Are you sure it's a DVD disc, and not a CD-ROM?

i take Nacho Libre, put in it the DVD drive, open itunes, but nothing happens. when i open the DVD to import it i get like 5 files thrown in my face.

Are you trying to copy it? Or just watch it?

If you're just watching it, download VLC media player.
