Are you absolutely sure thats a difference between Craft?

I've never seen a variable that controlled that, so I'm willing to bet its a code snippet in the actual executable that determines that.

I use that kind of code snippet all the time.

When I make a mod, I go into the base.rte
and go "shopping" for the code snippets that I need.

I use that kind when I want to keep my coding and file size to a minimum.

When you order an actor with the MK2 the actor just falls out.
When you order an actor with the MK1 you instantly get control of the actor.
