Doom 1 had no shadows. If you played it you would know that at the time it was the scariest game around.

Doom 2.. Well.. I've never even seen Doom 2.


Doom 3 is awesome and no-one can rightfully deny that.

From what I've seen of doom 3 it breks off from the classic run and gun style that doom and doom 2 use. As for doom 2 it is similar to doom except it has different levels more monsters etc., it is also easier to make new levels for.

Doom 3 was a let down. It was too slow paced. It was trying to be scary and barely did so. Doom 2 was the same game as the first Doom, it was more of an expansion pack. Added new creatures and weapons and a hanging Commander Keen. I absolutely love this franchise, although id announced that they would not be making any other Doom games.

Hm.. Doom 3 was good.

But the Doom franchise was failing.. It makes sense they stopped.

ID let me down alot. Doom 3 was good, but now they're not making a 3rd! Quake 4 just ruined the multiplay. Which was the strongest point of Quake 3!

iD has made more games and for a longer time, they've decided to give it a rest. Might, but very very unlikely.

thats what im saying a REST Id at some point will go under new manegment or need the money and doom 4 will be here!oh and its doom 4 thats resting there still porting them!
