For some reason, people apparently hate computers.

I want to see someone code a mod on a 360 controller.

Once the game is completely done, then yes. I can live without mods in a game like this once it's complete.

USB keyboards work with the 360. Course, it would still be a pain, as coding wasn't meant to be done on a console. The PC has programs for coding. Anyways... what happened to enjoying the game as it was meant to be played?

Can't they just make a Mod hosting server? That way, people would code on the PC, upload to the server, and download to the Xbox.

Nah, MS is pretty much against user-created content 100%. If people could make mods for a game, who knows what they could "exploit" (gasp), and what kind of changes they could make to the Xbox's firmware. (gasp again)

Microsoft has done user content before. Maps in Pariah and FarCry. Cars in Forza. Limited mods could probably be implemented. At least maps or something. Who knows? Maybe in the final version of CC, guns will be customizable anyways.

No one is saying it WILL come out on another platform, and no one is hating computers. (At least. I'm not.)

It simply is, that a lot of my friends who would love a game like CC, are incapable of playing on the computer. They either just could never get used to the keyboard and mouse controls, (And yes, I know about hooking up game controllers. Not everyone has one, or are prepared to pay up for a wireless 360 controller adapter.) or their parents would lay bricks (And I'm not talking masonry) if they found out they were *GASP* downloading things onto the family computer. I remember my folks used to be (And still are) like that.

As well, it's not fun cramming four people around a computer screen and going at it, (and I know there are ways of transfering the image to a TV, but not everyone wants to pay for the cables and proper set up to do so.) so could we PLEASE just quit the bickering and the "It couldn't/shouldn't be done" and think about what it would be like IF CC arrived to console?

Personally, I think it would be grand, and I'm listening for opinions from either side.

CC can be good for PSP, but it will be impossible to mod, so, yeah
CC on other platforms will not be the same as CC on PC

But I think it should be PC exclusive cuz PC is WIN, and there is no real point of having CC on Xbox 360, its a powerfull platform but all its good-ness will go to waste becuase CC is just 2D... No megasuper cool renders and 3D-ness or mega cool effects, its just a bunch of bitmaps and code, ofcourse it will run smooth, but thats no teh point, it can run smoot on PC aswell but it doesnt use teh hardware

CC on Xbox = MIGHT FAIL, if ever released
CC on PC = MAJOR WIN no matter what, unless they make it FAIL, which they wont

But thats just my opinion
