Wow, that's rough Dauss. But I love the dances!
A few weeks back a bird out of nowhere slammed into my house while me, my brother and my friend were in my pool.
We had a football so I thought, "Did Rob (Also known as Reioko on the forum) through the football?" Then from the back of my mind I just thought it was a bird...
I go and look over now Rob and my brother Tommy asking what it was and it was indeed a bird.
Wither it didn't see the house, (Not likely) or I witnessed birdy suicide.

If it's a window, birds don't see it. They think they can just fly into your house but no, they hit the window. We have a large window at our house, that sort of thing always happens.

Our back door window has taken out 7 of the little buggers. We buried one (wooden coffin and all), but a coyote dug it up. Since then, we've just thrown them as far as possible.

I had a baby wood pecker once... Took care of him for a bit, then some guy who kept wild birds who lived down the street offered to take it from me.
I was young, so my dad said yes, but I'm convinced it died, because he later told me he gave it to wild life control.
And when you have two blue jays in a cage, one debeaked by the other over a food incident, you don't give away birds to wild life control.

I love hunting birds. With shotguns. Sure it may spray their guts everywhere, but it's fun.

I have a parrot that I which was sent to the wild life control. She screams and dear God!! It's like getting punched in the head with mind-blowing, defining, organ destroying, dying jet engine scream of death!!!1!11!11!1!!one!!11!!
But seriously it's utterly horrible.
