Post Vista: A Warning
For all of you out there thinking of getting Vista; Don't.Here's why; Microsoft is rated 100% in everything but their OS's.Therefore, Microsoft makes a crappy one(I.E.:Vista) so everyone will stay away from Microsoft OS's.Then, they have 100% approval all around, making their stocks go up.So basically, they're pruning off the weak spots. So yeah, Vista sucks, it's buggy on purpose, don't get it unless you feel like screwing yourself and helping a behemoth.

This has been a Pyrorex presentation

Note:I got this speech from a paranoid, ex-Marine, computer genius uber-hacker friend of mine.Which makes it more true

Well, it kind of depends on what you're using it for.

If you use your computer for gaming, you're pretty much going to have to get Vista to keep up with newer games. If you're using it for work and stuff, then yeah, Vista isn't the best choice to go with.

New Microsoft OSes are always buggy and incompatible at their releases, just give it a year. Everybody said the same about XP when it first came out.

No it's not that, it's buggy on purpose. Not many people know that though.Go look at approval ratings and whatnot, you'll see the pattern emerge.Have to look for really subtle things though.

Spyware, viruses, excess of programs and registry clogs, etc...
Just install and run this if you haven't done so already. (Ad-Aware download link)

In my opinion, Linux is THE OS to have, but I don't feel like switching, so I'ma wait til I get me new computer to do it.Plus, nothing's ♥♥♥♥ compatible with Linux, game-wise.

It's sad when there are more Linux supporters than Mac supporters.
I'm running Arch Linux myself, it's very nice.

I have Vista. And it works great. I have had exactly no problems with it whatsoever. Anyone who tells you otherwise is a whiner.
